The Freshers Day event for the PGDM batch of 2022-24 was organized at the Institution under the banner Ignite 2022.

The event consisted of eight rounds split across six days in the month of November 2022. The event was organized by the student volunteers, faculty coordinators, and staff of RIMS with the support and guidance of the Principal of the Institution.

The first three rounds were the preliminary rounds open to all the new students, followed by the fourth round to select the top 35, followed by the fifth round to select the top 20 and only the best 10 of them moved up the ladder to compete in final round held on 25th November 2022 at RIMS from 2.00 pm onwardsDr. Swapna, the Principal of Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies and Dr. Purushothama, the Principal of Ramaiah Institute of Business Studies graced the occasion. Ms Sree Lekhya was adjudged as the Best Fresher and Ms. Aparna was adjudged as the Best Fresher Runner. The winner and runner were felicitated by a cash prize, a trophy, a crown and sash. The semi finalists were felicitated with trophies and all the participants received the participation memento.
