RIMS Bangalore inaugurated the Orientation Programme for the 2025-27 PGDM batch with great enthusiasm. The event featured the formal unveiling of academic handbooks, inspiring talks by distinguished guests including Mr. Sunil Natraj (Director, Broadcom Ltd., TEDx Speaker & Everest Summiteer), Dr. P. R. S. Chetan (Gallantry Shaurya Medal Awardee & Special Officer – Brigade Enterprises), and Ms. Varsha S Kodiyal (Entrepreneur & RIMS Alumna), who shared their valuable experiences and insights, motivating students to embark on their new academic journey with courage, discipline, and ambition.
RIMS Day 2 of the Student Induction Programme (SIP) at RIMS was marked by inspiring sessions led by Dr. M. Swapna, Principal of RIMS, who shared life lessons, academic values, and insights on discipline, club activities, and industry exposure. The day also featured the distribution of academic handbooks and a special screening of the movie Lagaan to emphasize teamwork and corporate values-motivating students to aim higher in their academic and professional journey.

RIMS Day 5 of the RIMS SIP, Mr. Thomas John Rose, Trainer & Founder of Wise Force Mission, conducted an inspiring workshop on ‘Attitude to Reach Your Dream’. Through interactive activities and powerful insights, he emphasized the importance of discipline, consistency, self-confidence, positive thinking, clarity of purpose, and a ‘never give up’ attitude in achieving personal and professional success.
RIMS Day 6 of the RIMS SIP witnessed an engaging and insightful session by Mr. Veeramani V, Founder of Recession Busters, on the theme ‘Power of Small Wins’. Through interactive activities like a Treasure Hunt and thought-provoking discussions, he emphasized gaining knowledge from everywhere and highlighted the three essential qualities required for success. Students were inspired to reflect on these traits and apply them in their academic and personal journeys.
RIMS Day 7 of RIMS SIP, students visited the Isha Foundation, Chikkaballapur, where they explored holistic leadership, mindfulness, and rural development through volunteering and entrepreneurship, making it a truly enriching experience.
Day 8 of the RIMS SIP, students engaged in impactful sessions featuring Dr. M. Swapna and Dr. Prasad Linganna on SWOC analysis, insights from Mr. Paul Ebenezer and Mr. Jayasheel Prasad from the placement department, and an introduction to RAC RIMS by Mr. Ram Narayanan, Alumni & Club Advisor. The day also included an inspiring address by Mr. Rajesh Raja, President of RAC RIMS, motivating students towards growth and leadership.
Day 9 of the RIMS SIP featured a series of enriching sessions. Mr. Srinivas H. Prabhu, Founder of INCANTO Dynamics, shared insights on Trends in AI and demonstrated live applications of Generative AI. Prof. Pavithra S, Assistant Professor at RIMS, conducted an impactful session on Universal Human Values, while Dr. Tania Thomas, Assistant Professor at RIMS, engaged students with an interactive session that included activities such as a quiz. The day offered students a perfect blend of technology, values, and interactive learning.
Day 10 of the RIMS SIP featured impactful sessions on Safety, Awareness, and Decision-Making. Ms. Kathyayini Alva, Police Inspector at Wilson Garden Traffic Police Station, shared valuable insights on cybercrime prevention and personal safety, while Mr. Sandeep Ohri, Business Strategy Consultant, engaged students with his session on ‘Decoding Decisions.’ Both sessions enriched students with practical knowledge and guidance for their personal and professional journeys.
